Bell Ringer

The “miracle” of Christmas happens again and again through joy, caring, and sharing. The Salvation Army Red Kettle is a tradition of the Christmas scene in Lake County, with thousands of dollars donated each year to aid needy families, seniors, and the homeless of our community.

Be A Bell Ringer

The Salvation Army Waukegan Corps is looking for Bell Ringers now to join us. If you’re looking for a way to give back this holiday season, please visit RegisterToRing.com to sign up. There are volunteer and paid positions available.

Many of The Salvation Army programs operate only because of the time and donations we receive through the Red Kettle Campaign. Donations provide utility assistance, rental assistance, and clothing, medical and furniture vouchers to our neighbors who find themselves in an emergency situation.

Volunteers who wish to bell ring may sign-up each year by calling 847-336-1880 or by visiting RegisterToRing.com. The Salvation Army of Waukegan has many indoor and outdoor Red Kettle locations throughout the greater Waukegan and surrounding communities for ringing. Bell ringing hours vary per location and are available Monday-Saturday. We ask that volunteers plan to ring from around 12 noon to approximately 8pm. Please note, we do not ring on Sundays.
